Haiti May 2017 Visit

In May 2017, my friend Bob Mayo and I traveled with 9-year-old Ephram Surber, our translator and “team leader,” to Montrouis, Haiti, to work with and document some of the work of Supply and Multiply, a ministry in that town for which I serve on the board of directors.

By the grace of God, Supply and Multiply, in partnership with One Heart, 2 Homes, built and operates one home for the elderly in Montrouis and is in the process of completing a second one. We are also blessed to be able to provide a boat for a local fisherman, one of our guards, who shares his catch with the residents of the elderly care home, the Matthew 25 House.

Within the town of Montrouis, Supply and Multiply’s paid Haitian staff does regular in-home care, including regular visits by a paid nurse, for elderly residents who have homes where they can still live. In cooperation with Faith Farms in Suffolk, Va., we have an agriculture ministry. Other Haitian staffers run Bible Clubs in the community, and visiting teams from America regularly do spiritual and physical outreach for children and adults in Montrouis.

We are excited to see what God’s plan holds for this quickly growing ministry.

Enjoy the photos (click photos to advance), and God bless.
